319 A Street, in Boston, is a redevelopment of a 19th century warehouse building. Existing 12x18 old growth Eastern Pine beams, were removed for a new elevator shaft. These are milled to mimic the beam proportions for 5 benches positioned in each floor's elevator lobby. 3-d printed "feet" cap blackened steel legs – a nod to contemporary materials.
